Dear Bitget users,
Bitget has launched the Copy Trade feature! The following article is the follower operation process. If you encounter any problems during the operation of Copy Trading, please contact online customer service at https://www.bitget.com or customer service at Telegram community(English)
- App Notifications:
The latest notifications will update in the top right, and you can click the “Bell” to enter the message list page;
- Trader List：Users can sort the list by profit rate or total income. Alternatively, you can search for a trader's name.
Follow these 5 easy steps!
1.Select your trader > 2.Set the parameters > 3.Confirm "Follow" > 4.Review the Follow order > 5.Edit "Copy"
1.Select your trader
Select traders from the "Trader List" that appears.
Followers can choose one or more traders
Joined Day : The date the trader joined
Profit Rate: A measure of profitability, calculated every hour
3 Weeks Win Rate：Historical profitable trades/Total historical trades, updated live
Max Draw-Down: Updated at 00:00 Daily (Singapore Time)
Total Income: Total amount for all closed positions, updated live
No. of Transaction: Total closed positions, updated live

2.Set the parameters
Click the “Follow” button, Select "Contract ", "Follow Mode", "Max. Position Count” from the menu that appears to the setting page, Read and accept the Copy Trade agreement and click “Confirm".
*The leverage setting will update to 10x cross margin once following;
*Copy Trading only resumes when the strategy trader closes positions.
Follow Mode：You can select "Fixed Ratio" or "Fixed Count", with "Fixed Ratio" selected by default
Fixed Ratio：The default setting is 1x, and allows users to input a maximum of 1 decimal places (Multiplier of Copy: 0.1 ~ 3)
e.g. If you set leverage of 0.5 times, and a trader places an order of 10 contracts, then your follow trade order will be 10*0.5
Fixed Count：The number of contracts that will open when following the trader. The maximum number when following is 2,000 contracts.
Max. Position Total: This is the max no. of holding positions of each contract when following a trader. Copy Trading Orders will not be continued after reaching this value, but the following relationship still exists.
>>The reasons below may cause follow failure:
- The trader reached the follower limit.
- The trader has been removed from the system
- Current identity as a trader
- Insufficient balance in Contract Account
4.Review the Following order(s)
All the follow orders appear in "Following Order", "Follow Trade History" and "My Trader" ；
My Trader: The list of the traders which you are following, regardless of position status
- Total Income:Recording the total assets for maximum position amount
- Profit: Total profit for all closed positions, including all closed positions from following traders
- "My Trader" that appears 'Edit' or 'Cancel Following '
*You still can close positions yourself or follow the trader's strategy if you select cancel following. However, the settings do not affect creating close orders by yourself or the Trader if you are still holding positions.
*The new settings will only apply to new open orders, but you are still advised to keep positions before the new settings are deployed.
- You can close positions in the "Following Order" section
*"Following order" displays all following trades separately
* All of the open leveraged positions will simultaneously be displayed in the "Position" menu
*If the user wants to close a position through the "Position" section, the system will prioritize the trade placed by the user themselves, over the copy trade positions.
